VEINCON 2018

Building on the success of the first edition, VEINCON 2018 was once again held in Varanasi. The theme expanded to include complex vascular and endovascular interventions in nephrology. The live surgical workshop showcased advanced procedures such as brachio-axillary AV grafts, patchplasty for AV fistula salvage, and complex central venous angioplasties for chronic total occlusion (CTO) and SVC syndrome patients. The event also featured live demonstrations of Permacath insertions and cutting balloons in AV fistula creation. Around 80 nephrologists, vascular surgeons, and interventionists attended, broadening the scope and impact of the conference.
